Why did I start my nonprofit?
I founded IrisRose with a mission to empower and inspire underserved youth because they are the future leaders, doctors, lawyers, and entrepreneurs. Often hindered by economic disparities, they may lack the resources to achieve their dreams. That's where IrisRose steps in—to serve as a guiding light, equipping them with the tools and support needed to overcome obstacles and realize their full potential.
After working in banking for 13 years, I witnessed firsthand the lack of resources and financial knowledge among underserved youth. Many school districts neglect to teach financial literacy and the importance of maintaining good credit. Holding my newborn daughter for the first time, I was struck by a profound desire to make a difference and transform as many young lives as possible. Remember, the youth are the architects of tomorrow; by investing in them today, we shape a brighter future for all.

IrisRose, Inc Tax Exemption Under IRS 501(c)(3) Approval Letter
In an August 07, 2021, letter from Stephen A. Martin, Director of Exempt Organizations of the Internal Revenue Service in Cincinnati, Ohio, we were notified that IrisRose INCS’ tax-exempt status application was approved. The letter states:
“We are pleased to tell you we determined you’re exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Donors can deduct contributions they make to you under IRC Section 170.”
Our tax-exempt effective date: January 12, 2021
Our accounting period ending: December 31st of each year
Our Employer Identification Number: 86-1410493
